Bioreports OSUN PDP IN FREE FOR ALL FIGHT OVER OMISORE SUPPORT FUND. A fracas erupted at an Osun Peoples Democratic Party youth wing meeting last week Thursday sending shivers down the spine of residents of Eripa, Boluwaduro Local Government Area of the State Osun. The weekly youth meeting that usually discusses party issues, degenerated into a free for all fight where dangerous objects were freely used by youths of the party. Eyewitness accounts said trouble broke out when some members of the youth wing of the invaded the residence of one of the party chieftain, Chief Simon Alabi, where the meeting is usually held, chanting war songs and challenging their leaders over the management of funds released to the youths by a gubernatorial aspirant of the party in 2014 election, Senator Iyiola Omisore. According to an inside source, the angry youths had earlier accused the youth leader, Akintunde Rasak for allegedly trying to embezzle the money alongside with some of his loyalists within the party. It was while the allegation and counter allegation was going on that hell was let loose and the youths pounced on their leaders. It was gathered that the situation got to its head when the youths went hunting for the leaders of the youth wing in their various homes. One of the youth leaders, Kayode Idowu was said to been the most badly hit as the aggrieved youths singled him out for beating.
