Birch Haven Senior Living, a 52 Bed Assisted Living in Ashland, WI is looking for a dynamic and experienced RN to become our next DON. Qualifications needed: Current WI License as an RN.Direct and monitor other Nurses and aides on completion of duties and tasks. Experience working the long-term care or assisted living setting favored. Work effectively with minimal supervision, strong communication skills, and ability to lead a group of people in completing tasks.Knowledge of nursing assessments, resident care plans, and state assisted living regulations. Ability to communicate well with residents and families explaining medical needs/changes related to resident’s care as well as advocate for the proper services to be provided. Must be able to relate professionally with residents, staff and family members, display a positive work attitude and be able to work as a team with other staff members.
