Birth and Demise of Taraqi Pasand Party After controversy in the election of JSSF two participant of Central President Candidate Bashir Qureshi of Tando Jam Agriculture University (supported by khan group Gul Mohammad Jakhrani, sattar Morio and other criminal oriented people who were in the jail during the Thori fatak incident. Sattar Morio was president of JSSF Sindh University unit and was well known of his criminal activities like Bank robberies, kidnapping and car lifting etc. Sattar Morio was first in student politics who introduce (AK47) culture and Gul Mohammad Jakhrani was enjoying the fruit of criminal activities. Other Candidate was Qadir Magsi {Bangali}from Liaquat Medical college Jamshoro supported by the leftist and majority of educated and positive mind people in the party like Inam Shaikh, Abdul Wahid Arisar, Ustad Khalid others. Qadir Magsi was belonging to working class family and hardly affords his expenses during his medical school time. At that time he was relatively or openly out from criminal activities like his counterpart). Due to the difference in election process Qadir Magsi announces the separate sect in JSSF 1988 as Jeay Sind Student Federation (Tarqi pasand wing) by the green light of his supporters. President Qadir Magsi, Vice president Haider Shahani, General Secretary Asif Baladi, Joint Secretary Munawar Laghari urf Munu or sufi Laghari. Asif Baladi was popular of his speeches and Munawar was regarded as shatar (devil) mined person. After incidents of 30 September 1988, this group become more popular in Sindh compare to other counterpart despite being started criminal elements in the group. This wing transforms into Jeay Sindh Taraqi Pasand Mahaz and established its first constitution by Ustad Khalid, Dilshad and Khaki Joyo. At last transforming in to Taraqi Pasand Party and constitution was revised and rewritten by Ustad Khalid, Dilshad, Khaki Joyo, Dr. Rahim Solangi, Munawar Laghari, Hussain Bux Thebo and Dr. Dodo Mehari. At that time Bangali (Qadir Magsi) was in jail but above learned and intellectual made him Chairman so caretaker Chairman Haider Shahani, General secretary Dr. Dodo Mehari and rest become the members of Central committee including Dr. Abdul Qadeer Memon, Munawar Laghari, Asif Baladi, Hussain Bux Thebo, Dlishad, Dr. Rahim Solangi, Ustad Khalid, Dr, Dr. Sumar Mangirio, Hyder shahani, Dr, Azeem Khoondar, and Soho. There were one secret cabinet who was dealing outside help from India and Afghanistan. The following were the members: Hussain Bux thebo, Munawar Laghari, Dr. Azeem Khoondar, Dr. Rahim solangi, soho and Dr, Abdul Qadeer Memon. The party was funded purely from criminal activities and all of CC members and office bearer use to draw regular salaries from party fund except Ustad Khalid and Dlishad. The party was financial sound and Munawar Laghari was in charge of all financial matters but strictly control by Bangali (Qadir Magsi) despite being in Jail. He even releases the fund for the party activites including Jalsa and day to day affairs of the party. Acting Chairman Haider Shahani was like Mr. Makhdoom Amin Fahim in the presence of Benazir Bhutto. Acting chairman was powerless and even cannot buy a pencil for the party without Bangali. Party was well established and hard work of all dedicated and sincere people for the national cause. It was regarded as the next to PPP and well popular on the ground till the release of Bangali from the Jail. After release from Jial Qadir Magsi denounce the entire constitution of the party and declare the U-turn from national cause without the consultation of Central committee or any party leaders. He had total control of party finances and regarded all people as his paid workers because they were full time party workers and drawing salaries in order to support their families. By now he has full support of Pakistani agencies and regarded filed commander of ISI. He kick out dedicated and sincerely party leaders by small groups because he was not interested for the real cause and he got whatever he want so that was start the demise of the party. This point he start to transform from Revolutionary leader to Gangster and Mafia leader including involvement killing of own party workers like drug dealers. He has no contribution to build party at all and neither the funds. So basically he took over party and funds by the support of State and releases entire Central committee except Dr. Sumar Mangrio who is still with him. That was nonabrasive of entire party’s intellectuals, leaders and Central committee members to handover the full power and hard work of thousands of workers as well Shaheeds. It is also deceiving part of senior leaders who intentional done such mistakes and ultimately entire Sindhi nation paid the price. Up to now Qadir Magsi never been held accountable for all things he has done including killing of own workers and attacking senior leaders who dump him like Dr. Rahim Solangi. He transforms himself from Bunghi to Millionare and totally gangster of Hyderabad. I firmly believe that one day someone rise up and will held him accountable his atrocities. His most reliable person Munawar Laghari who deceives Bangali took chunk of party funds and went to United States of America and never come back to Sindh. It was Mr. Zain Shah the current General Secretary of Sindh United Party who opens accounts for MUNU Laghari and helps him out. He is well established and has offices and home in Washington D C.
