**Bishop Burton students represent Hull FC in derby game** Congratulations to two Bishop Burton College students who were part of the squad for Hull FC’s derby win over Hull KR on Sunday. Brad Fash and Tom Stark who play loose forward and winger respectively both got first team game time at the KC stadium, helping FC to a 20-12 victory. Brad summed up the experience saying “I’m from Hull, and my whole family are FC supporters, so playing in a derby match is an incredible feeling”. Tom added “There is a massive atmosphere in the stadium at derby games, the crowd are so passionate - it’s fantastic”. Tom explained how playing for the first team is helping to develop his game, saying “There is a lot of experience in the team. There’s so much we can learn from the first team players, from how they prep for a match to how they run their game”. Brad put the win down to the black and whites “Playing a more physical game, with more energy and enthusiasm”. Not letting the win go to their heads - both students were back in College on Monday morning, where they are studying for their Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence, as part of the Hull FC rugby academy.
