Bishop Ithiel Clemmons, served as pastor of Historic First Church of God in Christ, Brooklyn, New York and pastor of Church of God in Christ Cathedral, home of Wells Memorial Church of God in Christ, Greensboro, North Carolina. Bishop Clemmons started the renowned National Prayer Clinic at Wells and served in many capacities in the Church of God in Christ including Jurisdictional Bishop of Eastern New York and General Board member. He was a pioneer in formal theological education, being the first member of the Church of God in Christ to graduate from an ATS accredited theological institution, Union Theological Seminary in New York City. He is pictured here with former General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Thomas E. Trask.
