Bit of info to give you all an idea of how this came about. I wanted to create a monthly report of works for crt and ask them what they would be doing. What the voluntary teams were doing. And then pick off a couple of the shortfall jobs. David Gee was planting flowers at angel thinking about some kind of adopt a lock scheme. We had a beer and realised we both were thinking about the same thing. Lengthsman were employed on the canal for years so we have pinched the name. All we need is to look around us when we cruise and if we see something post it on here. I (and anyone else who wants to help) will do the rest and report it all in and hopefully CRT will use the data to maximise repairs and we will pick off a few jobs and gain the reputation we deserve as people who care about the canal we live on.
