If a marketer can make it so that you feel the same way about a bacon double cheeseburger as you do about the special beans-and-greens or roast chicken your grandmother made for you, and then he makes that double cheeseburger available to you almost everywhere you go, he’s got you locked in forever. That’s just not the same thing as bagels and lox.
