Bizarre 48 hours. Yesterday watching this at Hout Bay, Cape Town peninsular. Then flight home brought forward by one day as aged aunt rushed to hospital for emergency surgery. Arrived Thiefrow at 6.30 am, straight to Barnes to baby sit Alzheimers uncle and visit my aunt in hospital. They have been married for over 70 years! Now aged 92 & 94. Camping out on the sofa tonight. My poor oldUncle Fred said I was welcome to share his bed. I respectfully declined. The sun-drenched Cape wineries now seem a long way off. I shall return (especially if the exchange rate continues to allow five star food and wine at two star cost).
