Hey Steve.. As it relates to a new tx regime, I think the best way to go is with income tax using varying %´s based on the annual income of individuals and businesses.. Income tax in addition to custom tax is the way to go.. I dont think the Govt will do a good job collecting value added taxes, because it will be difficult to track the movement of goods and services and ya know, summa we bahamians does lie good.. VAT will kill the PLP. Steve all that money the Govt spend and they cant pay the people at civil aviation security... believe in Bahamians they say! SMT!! I need to hear the speech about the one world order. With this clean up situation charge each home $5 to pick up garbage. Coperate citizens help with the verge clean up, just a thought. I also heard today that some of the big hotels get groupers from Mexico is this tru? Hey Steve how wil VAT work over in Freeport when the Hawkes Bill Creek does not allow for taxes over there? Steve this Govt need to cut back on spending and tightening our belt, we spend 25 million dollars on urban renewable between last budget and this budget please show me three T eleven house they build for a senior citizen i call on Mr. Allen and mother Pratt to resign.
