Black College Expo Information ATTENTION: ALL Senior Students, Parents, Guardians, and Service Providers. Please encourage our youth to attend this very important College Expo. Mark your calendars! WHO: The San Francisco Alliance of Black School Educators WHAT: Historical Black College Fair Expo WHERE: Mission High School, 3750 18th Street, San Francisco, CA 94114 WHEN: Monday, September 15, 2014, 4pm-8pm CONTACT: Ucangotocollege.org to register visit: GoToCollegeFairs/California NOTES: The SFUSD in partnership with The San Francisco Alliance of Black School Educators will host the UCAN Go To College HBCU Recruitment Fair at Mission High School on Monday, September 15, 2014 from 4pm to 8pm. College admission officials from 41 Historically Black Colleges and Universities will be at Mission to receive application packets from Seniors graduating in 2015 and past SFUSD high school graduates who want to apply for admission to their institution. Some students will receive ON-THE-SPOT admission and scholarships! Officials will review transcripts, provide financial aid information and waive application fees. To apply students should bring: Transcript (required) SAT/ACT scores (if available) Two letters of recommendation (If available) Personal essay, Juniors and others should bring copies of transcripts and 3X5 cards with their contact information. Two HBCU Bootcamp will be held at Mission High School to assist ANY SFUSD students with preparing their application packet. September 13, 2014, 10-1pm Rm. 213.
