Black Cove Please read the following quote from our friend Martyn Stewart. He works tirelessly for animals around the world and has experience in Taiji. There is a short video of his at the end of the post explaining the dolphin drives. It does have a bit of graphic footage but it is a good summary of what happens in Taiji. Every day between September and March i will look over my shoulder see what is happening in Taiji, Over the last few days we have witnessed more cruelty from a small group of Fishermen that bring shame on their country. Animals are killed for fun it seems and the marauders are obviously getting cheap thrills from their actions. What saddens me however is OUR actions on Social media. To wish death on the country because of a few scumbags makes us as bad as them. I have some beautiful friends in Japan and it sickens me to think some of those who are friends on my Facebook page would want tidal waves and earthquakes to hit their homes... I witness animals all over the globe treated very much the same, I see it in the place I live. Would you wish me dead because im connected to the same race? If we are to defeat the abusers, the people who do harm to the planet we must fight from a higher ground.... I understand anger and i understand hatred... My body is fueled by it many times, It drives me on. The small minded people that talk this way do more harm than good.... I hate animal abusers, I wish they didnt exist in my life. I hate the fishermen that torture theses cetaceans in Japan. I hate the hunters that kill in my own country too...
