Black Friday Rant: First off, let me say that I did NOT go shopping because I did not need anything. Had I needed something, I would have gone. Heres why: Facebook and the media have made it seem like a shameful thing that stores opened up the BF sales last night. It has been portrayed as a greedy, evil corporation thing. Okay, forget the fact that the retailers have lost and will never make back up those losses for the year due to the fact that the economy SUCKS, and that is due to DC, not Wall Street. Secondly, get off your high horses...you dont complain about having electricity , water, police and fire protection on Thanksgiving, do you? Third, did it ever occur to you that there might just be some people who want to work (perhaps are alone with no family) or need to work (due to the sucking economy)? Fourth, when a person accepts a job, they accept all the TERMS of a job. If you dont want the possibility of having to work on Thanksgiving, dont accept a job that may require you to do so. Fifth, and most importantly.MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS !
