Black Hills Battle Creek Horse Camp... here is a few pictures I have never seen no one post on here before and then a few we all have posted. First is the 1880 train that runs next to camp. If you have kids they all love it and even us big KIDS. Second is a few of the Imperial Gold Mine that is on Private Property but we have permission to ride to, and you just know someone has to ride back into it, you can ride back in couple hundred yards to a big room. Third is the Sheridan Lake ride back to Camp on 89 this is a very good ride and rugged you have to go under the highway in a concrete culvert everyone loves... Fourth is Harney Peak and the Native Americans had it decorated with Sprite Flags this is a Sacred Grounds to them. This is the first time I ever seen it decorated up there.... then Mt Rushmore.... IF you have ever stayed at Battle Creek Horse camp(in my opinion the best keep secret of the Black Hills) it will be better next year, the down fall of the camp you had to ride about a half mile on a scenic Highway to the 89 trail.... which is no thing but I could see people not liking that especially if they had little ones. The neighbors have aloud them to make a tail across their pasture and hay fields so their will be very little if any road riding
