Black River Stages 2014 in the books. 16th overall (from 38 starters), 6th in AWD and 2nd place in Open AWD Light class. Not too shabby given the conditions and absence of recent seat time. Had one pretty serious near-off on Goose Pond Out that pranged the bumper and corner light and bent the front right control arm. Had to do three more stages before service but decided to press on since we couldnt really fix it in the 15 minutes provided. The Toyota Sequoia tow/service vehicle troubled us with a seriously nasty sounding rear wheel bearing (imagine a bucket of bolts attached to the wheel). Tried to find a Toyota dealer up in NY to fix it but no go. Actually made it home (730 miles) in such a condition. Going to the local Toyota place tomorrow. Overall a good weekend - Kieran, as usual was great, and Mike Miller our crew chief provided outstanding service despite being the entire crew at this event.
