Black people and tombstones: After getting lost at Avalon cemetery today looking for a funeral proceeding I decided to drive around the cemetery out of fascination of the huge stones in this empty silent lonely place. For one, cemeteries r not as spooky as we r meant to believe, what I felt was a serene place with no interference from human interaction a place were one can settle quietly for peace of mind but the huge stones disturbed me. They felt like big beautiful double storey houses with no occupants. Moreover I felt like the dead were imprisoned by huge stones were they were shouting out to be released. I just dont get the logic of this stones, They r beautiful stones standing alone with no company or admirer
