Black people in the 60s used to hate getting handouts. The man of the house tried their hardest to provide support for their families. Nowadays, the black pride of working for a living has been more diminished from glorifying laziness and admonishing those who work and earn. Black Wallstreet was not from handouts, it was from educating each other by learning trades and building for ourselves. Handouts cripple work ethic and diminishes pride. Remember the same government that enslaved our ancestors are still enslaving those today. This time by their own choice.
