The woman, identified by other Twitter users as Duncanville High School teacher Vinita Hegwood, unleashed a profanity-laced, racist tirade on how “Crackers” should “kill themselves.” (Note: Very strong language ahead) Duncanville Teacher Tweet After an ensuing firestorm, Hegwood removed the post, then her entire Twitter account in retreating from the controversy. Duncanville High has not confirmed the teacher’s name or status at the school. The school made headlines in May 2013, when student Jeff Bliss ranted about his teacher, Julie Phung, handing out packets and not properly teaching students. In response to the most recent incident, Twitter users circulated the school’s phone number and demanded that the teacher be fired.
