Blair Bockman asked, Wise homeschooling parents, I have a new 1st grader who just finished kindergarten with the Sonlight curriculum. Im noticing that she is strong in most areas except for reading words with multiple vowels. Do you have any activities or resources you can recommend? My daughter seems to struggle with understanding that when vowels are paired together they can make many different sounds. She is discouraged and Im not quite sure how to teach her in an organized way she can understand. Sonlight seems to have skipped over this aspect of vowels so far. Any help or suggestion would be very welcomed. Thank you in advance!
