Blake Miller hit a tiebreaking RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the San Jose Giants to a 6-5 victory over the Modesto Nuts on Wednesday evening at Municipal Stadium. After Modesto tied the game with three runs in the top of the eighth, Millers hit in the bottom of the frame put the Giants back ahead for good. The win was San Joses second straight in the series. Trevor Brown (3-for-4, 2B, HR, 4 RBI) homered as part of a four-RBI night to lead the Giants offensively.
