Blamin this one on the Counselor David Guldenschuh, for bringing it to my mind -- Rome is Burning I want to feel those Georgian winds the way it used to blow my hair, way back when we were more than friends; I want our love to go back to there. Years ago when we met in Rome you loved me but it didnt last. What burned down was our loving home, and what was is now all in the past. Our love still haunts that seventh hill; through, under, around and above. Id have gave it all and would still to have been able to keep that love. Rome was burning around us as our hearts went separate ways. You took me to get on that bus. Ill regret that to my dying days. I want to feel those Georgian winds the way it used to blow my hair; way back when we were more than friend. God, how do we get back, my hearts still there. wrote it quite a few years ago, just liked the thought of Rome and all and the symbolism i guess, because i didnt even date until i was out of high school lol
