It is not weakness, but supreme self control empowered by the Spirit. In GALATIANS 5:23, gentleness or meekness is listed as one of the fruits of the Spirit. It is a humble and gentle attitude that is patiently submissive in every offense, while having no desire for revenge or retribution. I pray for the Holy Spirit to produce this Godly attitude in me along with the other 8 fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self control. When we walk in the Spirit we can please God in this world.
