Blessing- [bles-ing] 1. The act or words of a person who blesses. 2. A special favor, mercy, or benefit. 2. Approval or good wishes. 3. A favor or gift bestowed by God bringing happiness. Sometimes God will send someone to minister to you so that you can receive your blessing. Are you listening? Are you so busy talking your way out of the conversation that you miss your benefit in the whole thing-cutting that person off; therefore cutting God off? How many times do we miss out on blessings or happiness because we want what we want instead of what God is showing us He has in store for us? Through life we learn so many hard lessons when we insist on doing things our own way(a.k.a. SELF EFFORT) We sit and watch everyone else have life more abundantly and we wonder why things just arent happening for us? Well...MAYBE YOU IGNORED THE MESSENGER GOD SENT TO YOU; and therefore He sees that youre not quite ready to receive your blessing yet, and essentially instead of learning the shortcuts He gives through Grace, Mercy, & REVELATION, that youd rather still take the long way and continue to bump your head thinking that if you keep making the same mistakes- your outcome will eventually be different (insanity).
