Blind my butt!!! LOL Today, I was watering my roses climbing up the fence that blocks off the side of our house. We have a dog door to that side with steps up to it next to our AC unit. We dont want my blind dog near the pool so we blocked that side of our house off for him. There is a small area, tucked into a corner where the fence meets house that my small dogs slip by into our backyard. It is a maze to get to it even with a post in the way if you come from the patio. It is very small so my other big dog never fit and never went that way. Well. ...I am watering and here walks Wally, maneuvering the maze like he can see coming from the patio, not bumping into anything, slipping past the fence like the small dogs do and walks into the house through the dog door. ????????? How did he know it was there? He cant see to follow anyone. No one was in front of him. I didnt think he could even fit. I didnt even know he could figure out how to get inside the house through the dog door yet! Oh my gosh! I would have never believed it if I hadnt seen it myself. I am in shock screaming his name as he scoots through the fence and then, before he goes in the dog door, he smiles and does this happy dance all proud of himself. Oh yea! What a smarty pants! Blind dog????? Really? LOL
