Bling bling beggars draw ire Four panhandlers in the Chongqing Municipality were uncovered as out-of-province #frauds and one ever sported a flashy iPhone 6 Plus, according to a report by Chongqing Evening News. #Police found that all of the #beggars came from a county in east China’s Anhui Province. They are farmers at home but turned into “beggars” outside farming, to earn some extra money as the Spring Festival approaches. At the end of November, the four men took a flight – also not cheap – to the southwestern city and asked for help from locals, claiming they were migrant workers and had no money to go back home. Now it appears that many warm-hearted people were cheated. During the first week of the fraud, the men netted an income of 3,000 yuan ($487), - and that is after their living expense were paid.
