A concrete block had been thrown at and broken glass in the front of the business. There was some damage to curtains but nothing was stolen. 9:04 a.m., Thursday, 505 N. Wabash Ave., Cornerstone Behavioral Health, juvenile, arrest, non-aggravated battery. A juvenile reportedly battered a woman. The juvenile was there for behavioral problems. 10:44 a.m., Thursday, 700 block of West 35th Street, fraud/scam. Weslyan Nursing Home reported that a man was abusing and misappropriating his mother’s money because she has not paid a balance of $14,000. He has power of attorney because she has dementia. 10:49 a.m., Thursday, 800 block of West 35th Street, unidentified male, arrest, charged, domestic battery. A woman reported that her live-in boyfriend slapped her in the face. She then hit him with a lamp, cutting her hand in the process. 11:30 a.m., Thursday, 300 block of West 16th Street, theft. Someone who has power of attorney over his daughter reportedly stole from her credit card. 1:28 p.m., Thursday, 1400 block of South Adams Street, theft. A former tenant reportedly stole a stove and refrigerator. 3:42 p.m., Thursday, 700 block of North Baldwin Avenue, theft. A woman reported her license plate was stolen from her SUV. 4:25 p.m., Thursday, 600 block of West Third Street, theft. A woman reported her license plate was stolen from her mailbox. 5:53 p.m., Thursday, 500 block of North Washington Street, Lonnie L. Scott, 45, Marion, arrest, driving under the influence. He was released Thursday from the Grant County Jail on a $505 bond. 6:36 p.m., Thursday, 400 block of Greentree Drive, investigation. A 3-year-old grandson was reported last seen in a park about 30 minutes prior. He was later found in his bedroom. 6:50 p.m., Thursday, 100 block of South Nebraska Street, theft. A lawnmower was reported stolen from a garage. 9:26 p.m., Thursday, 3240 block of S. Western Ave. Wal-mart, criminal mischief. A cashier reported someone cut the break lines in her car while it was parked. 9:57 p.m., Thursday, 1100 block of North Baldwin Ave., theft. A woman reported that her locked car was entered and her wallet stolen from the trunk. The wallet was located in the parking lot, but her money, credit card and driver’s license were missing. 11:57 p.m., Thursday, 441 N. Wabash Ave., Marion General Hospital, theft. A vehicle was reported damaged and several items from it stolen.
