Blue Sample Ballot Campaign Yes, we can run a smart efficient Blue Sample Ballot Campaign so we can elect Democratic Candidates across the Nation. The following are simple steps which we used here in Lee County, North Carolina. We have not lost a election in the past three election cycles. Blue Sample Ballots are better that yard signs, handouts, fliers, or other ads since the voters have the information in front of them when they vote. 1. Get lots of Volunteers, start now. Have a simple volunteer sign-up form. 2. Register Voters: The young, newcomers, anyone that has changed their name, anyone that has changed their address, and convicted felony that have completed their probation. Most states they can register on line. 3. Canvass the youth, single women, college students and Hispanics. 4. Get an official Sample Ballot from you local Board of Election, here in North Caroling we cant get one until October 1. 5. Get digital photos of all candidates. 6. Here in North Carolina we must do the following in order for the voters to take the sample ballots into the voting locations: a. Print that it is not a Official Sample Ballot. b. Print who paid for the Blue Sample Ballot. c. Along the left side print in very large letters: Sample Ballot. 7. Design your own Blue Sample Ballot: a..Print the names of all Democratic Candidates in large bold letters, the other candidates names in very small letters. b. Place a photo of the Democratic Candidates next to their names, if you have the funds print color photos. Most voters liked this special touch and they can use the Blue Sample Ballot as a guide in voting, mainly for the Judges because the most voters are not familiar with them. No photos of the other candidates. 8. Determine the number of Blue Sample Ballot that your group will need for early voting and the General Elections, and get quotes. 9. Print the sample ballot on Lite Blue Paper, the sample ballots for political parties cant be on white paper in North Carolina. 10. Assign volunteers to the early voting sites. Have at least 4 volunteers at each voting site per day, split the day into 4 periods. That way everyone gets a break. Some sites may require more. 11. Assign volunteers to the General Election sites. 12. Get the voters to the polls, if DEMOCRATS VOTE WE WIN. 13. Hand a Blue Sample Ballot to EVERY VOTER. No matter what some voters may say to you at the polls be nice to them at all times and thank them for voting. Remember they are still our friends and neighbors. I can never hate anyone, but I will report anyone that breaks the rules, tries to keep anyone from voting or harm them. Let the Law take care of the law breakers. Everyone should have the police phone number on your cell phone, as well as the number for your local Democratic Party office. 14. Turn the Nation Blue! WIN, WIN and WIN in 2014 and 2016. Candidates and the local Democratic Party can pool their funds and volunteers in order to make sure everything is covered.
