Blue is a lovable, 1-year-old girl with a “Type A” personality. We admit that she’s a little uptight; maybe it’s just that she’s smart enough to be suspicious of the motives of those who tend to her in the Brooklyn shelter. Because of her caution around people Blue has been marked for a New Hope Only adoption. The truth is that given an opportunity to trust her circle, Blue will turn into a lamb. She’s the victim of abandonment, so she has very little experience as the recipient of loyalty or kindness. Blue has learned to depend on herself in this life; but we think it would be wonderful if she were to learn that she could trust a beloved family. Oh, Blue needs to be seen by a vet as there’s a bit of blood in her stool. The shelter’s solution to her illness is to kill her tomorrow. Can’t we please put a stop to that plan? Let’s share her thread and photo tonight in the hopes that her “intended” human spots her picture before it’s too late.
