So, Beloved, since the governing church provides apostolic patterns, inputs and strategies, it is therefore in a position to reproduce itself in other churches. It serves as an example to other churches of how church should be run in aspects of praise and worship, prayers and intercession, doctrine, church governance and administration, financial accountability, community involvement, and so forth. It stands out as a beacon of hope to the world. It is an indication of a serious problem for a church to exist in its community and nothing noteworthy is ever said of it (Acts 4:13-14; Acts 11:26c). The church cannot afford to be swallowed up by the community it exists within. It is a sad day for a church to be recognised as just “another” organisation in its community. It has to assert itself as a spiritual womb that births new moves of God into society. When the church has taken such a position, the community leaders cannot make decisions without consulting the church for its inputs in important matters. God gets involved in the affairs of men on earth through the governing church.
