Blustery sunshine in our first stop along the West Coast. Resisting the Sleepless connotations, but Louis Armstrong music was playing at the top of the Space Needle. A special experience to see the city bathed in pink light at sunset - extending to Mount Rainer in the distance. Was very interested in reading about Seattles historic routes in the Klondike gold rush at the beginning of the last century and how one of the pioneers Nordstrom founded the department stores from his prospecting. An elegant city which weve very much enjoyed seeing again.
