BoMs Forecasts: Coastal Observations: 5/10/2014: (Mary) Weather Situation: A ridge of high pressure will remain along the east Queensland coast during the next few days. Hervey Bay Waters Forecast: Forecast for Sunday until midnight: Winds East to northeasterly 10 to 15 knots decreasing to about 10 knots in the evening. Seas Below 1 metre. Swell Below 0.5 metres. Fraser Island Coastal Waters Forecast: Sandy Cape to Double Island Point: Forecast for Sunday until midnight: Winds East to northeasterly about 10 knots. Seas Below 1 metre. Swell South to southeasterly 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore. Sunshine Coast Waters Forecast: Double Island Point to Cape Moreton: Forecast for Sunday until midnight: Winds North to northeasterly about 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots in the middle of the day. Seas Below 1 metre. Swell South to southeasterly 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore. Moreton Bay Forecast: Forecast for Sunday until midnight: Winds West to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots becoming variable below 10 knots in the morning then becoming north to northeasterly 10 to 15 knots in the middle of the day. Winds reaching up to 20 knots in the western bay in the afternoon. Seas Below 1 metre.
