Bob Costas continues to lose clout with me as his Sunday Night - TopicsExpress

Bob Costas continues to lose clout with me as his Sunday Night Football halftime opinion commentary now includes what he feels as the demeaning and inappropriate name of the team representative of our nations Capitol. Lets just call each other numbers. They cant possibly be offensive. Or can they? My name from Hebrew means high mountain or exalted. Arabic-messenger. I dont find that particularly offensive, but I dont have any body telling me to change it or bringing attention to it. Last year it was how guns were the reason Jevon Belcher killed his girlfriend and then took his own life. Guns did it. By no means do I think that the tragedy in Kansas City and the Redskins name issue deserve equal treatment. My point is that someone in Mr. Costas position has a lot of room to say whatever he wants. One would expect it to be oriented towards whats going on between the hash marks. Instead he continues to go on tangents that are hot with mainstream media. Redskins=good for years and years, but now offensive. I know the answer to everything that is wrong with everything. Just change it. Then when it doesnt work change it again. Continue pattern and continue shifting blame for failures on others. This seems to be the only way to satisfy all. Im already wrong for wanting to leave things alone. That isnt acceptable today. So in a few years I suppose I look forward to rooting for the Chicago NFL team or the Indianapolis football team. Or maybe the O U football team. And maybe you will have to call me by a different name. Number 77 has always been good....
