Bobby is a consummate musician as well as a benevolent spirit. I learned this first hand when I took a group of music students to the Greeley Jazz Festival back in 19-forever ago. He did not know me, but when I asked him to have dinner with us (all twenty of us) he politely accepted. He came into the rehearsal room shortly before we performed later that night, just to give a thumbs up to the kids. He didnt have to do it. It was remarkably kind. I love how Bobby pays homage to Robin in this article.
