Bobbys best friend spoke a few words as to why he did the Great North Run in Bobbys name, thank you George Carter. A true inspiration “At the time of Bobby passing away, I was so upset and shocked at losing a best friend so suddenly . I felt I needed to do something to keep him at the forefront of my mind and therefore me and my brother decided to run the Newcastle great north run to raise funds for a charity that was associated with families who had gone through the same trauma. 2 months into the training I unfortunately broke my foot. However I was determined to do it for Bobby so, I decided to do the half marathon in a wheel chair.
