Boca Bearings presents one of this year’s Innovation Contest entries! R.O.E.B.L. The Remote Operated Electric Bucket Loader is built for moving dirt in environments that pose significant risk to the occupant. It has remote operation capability, its exterior case is 1/4 aluminum and steel and is sealed for dust and water up to IP67 rating. The maker’s objective is to provide service workers in any field a robotic solution for a harsh job in deadly environments. R.O.E.B.L. contains bearings in the wheel hubs, drive systems and in its electric motors. For a total of 8 different kinds of bearings, from tapered to plain to bronze. Though ambitious, R.O.E.B.L. is only one of many entries in this year’s Innovation Contest.
