“Boeing-Boeing” at the Drury Lane Theatre is a noisy, labored unfunny farce that has little to recommend it beyond its energy. But the audience at the weeknight performance I attended laughed a lot so clearly there is room for debate about the merits of the play. “Boeing-Boeing” opened in Paris in 1960 and ran for almost 20 years. A London transfer ran for several years. A Broadway version in 1965 lasted 23 days, though another Broadway version in 2008 was a surprise commercial success and won several awards. Go figure. The show gets a rating of two stars. “Boeing-Boeing” runs through August 4 at the Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane. Performances are Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., Thursday at 1:30 and 8 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 5 and 8:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2 and 6 p.m. Tickets are $35 to $49. Meal packages are available.
