Evacuation Center is at the Mt. Shasta Armory next Mt. Shasta High School. Injuries: 3 Cause: Under investigation Cooperating Agencies: CHP, CAL TRANS, Pacific Power and Light, Weed City PD, Yreka PD, Mt. Shasta PD, Siskiyou County Sheriff, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, California Conservation Corps, and CAL OES, United Way, and the American Red Cross. Total Fire Personnel: 969 Total Fire Engines: 72 Total Fire crews: 20 Total Helicopters: 5 Total Dozers: 8 Total Water Tenders: 10 Incident Management Team: CAL FIRE Incident Management Team 4 Long/Lat: -122.37432/41.42384 Conditions: Firefighters are improving containment lines and continuing mop up and overhaul work within the fire perimeter. Damage Assessment Teams have begun surveying the impacted areas of the fire. Excess resources are being released and made available for other incidents as necessary. Utility crews have begun assessing and repairing damaged equipment and infrastructure. A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for the area.
