Bollywood personalities invited to Navratra Festival’s 16th AIDSCC Observer Bureau Katra, Sept 23 A meeting of Navratra Festival’s All India Devotional Song Competition Committee (AIDSCC) was held here today under the chairmanship of its chairman Rakesh Wazir wherein it is briefed that film personalities from Mumbai including Actor Herman Baweja, Managing Director Venus Records & Tapes ltd. Ganesh Jain, Managing Director Tips Industries ltd. Romesh Taurani , Producer & Trade Analyst Vikas Mohan, Chairman & Managing Director Mh one group Mohinder Batla, CEO Zee Jagaran Barkha Arora & CAO Disha Channel R C Raina have already given their consent to be there in the panel of judges for final of All India Devotional Song competition & the chances are there that actress Preeti Sapru and actor Sonu Sood may also join the panel of judges as well. The meeting and competition is being organized by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) & J&K Tourism in association with other organizations. Rakesh Wazir while speaking on the occasion said that this year this would be 16th competition and efforts would be made to increase its horizon and keeping in view the fact in mind,the all over India auditions of this competition have started this year with the active support of Disha Channel and these auditions would be taken at Chandigarh, Faridkot, Delhi/NCR, Jaipur, Vrindavan, FaridKot, Noida,Shimla, Jammu in addition to regular auditions held from 5th oct. to 10th oct. at Katra. In the meeting different sub- committees were formed for the smooth conduct of the competition which included Committee for Reception of guests which comprised of Shyam lal Kesar as its President with Sardari lal Dubey, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Karan Singh, Virender Kesar, Harish Dubey, Subhash Chander and Raju kumar as its members, committee for finalizing of names of judges to be forwarded to vice-chairman Navratra Festival Committee & Addl. Chief Executive Officer S.M.V.D Shrine Board included Swami Yoganand ji Maharaj as its President with Sardari Lal Dubey & Ajay Sharma as its members. The Committee for facilitation of auditions and its management will comprise of Sanjay kumar as its President and Gopal Singh, Pawan kumar, Mr. Subhash Kumar as its members. The committee for media facilitation and management include Rakesh Sharma as its President and Ramneek Nawadha, Rajinder Mengi, Diwakar Sharma, Rakesh Dubey,Raman Sharma & Arun Sharma as its members. The committee for stage settings/sitting arrangements and supervision include Sardari Lal Dubey as its President and Shyam Lal Kesar, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Naresh Kesar as its members. In addition to that a Committee was also formed for the immediate decisions to be taken comprised of Rakesh Wazir chairman All India Devotional Song Committee as its president with Presidents of all Sub- Committees of AIDSC and Shiv Kumar Sharma , Virender Kesar , Harish Dubey, Rattan singh Manhas, Ajay Sharma & Virender Kesar as its member. Wazir further said that besides local channels the agreements are under process for direct telecast & media contracts with zee news , Zee jagran, Shradha Mh one, Disha Channel & Big 92.7 FM so that more & more people may be able to see & listen this event all over world. The meeting among others was attended by Swami Yoga Nand ji Maharaj, Shyam Lal Kesar , Shiv Kumar Sharma, Sardari Lal Dubey,Rakesh Sharma, Virender Kesar, Rattan Singh Manhas, Harish Dubey, Sanjay Kumar, Rakesh Dubay, Rajinder Mengi, Ramneek Nawadha, Subhash Kumar,Naresh Kesar and others.
