Bon Jour from the Sea Princess :) We are at sea today, this is day 2 of 2 sea days and we are currently heading for Pago Pago, American Samoa. (I wrote this on Saturday 28 Sept 2013, but was not able to post this till tonight). We have only got around 8 days left of this cruise :( , and we are still having a great time!, the ship is good, the food has been good!, and the weather has been nice as well, most of the time, (we have had a bit of rain now and then). Since I last posted we have been to Papeete(Tahiti), Moorea, and Bora Bora, French Polynesia Papeete (Tahiti), French Polynesia - Tuesday, 24th September. As we spent two days here on our cruise in July 2011, we did not do as much, this time. First we just had a look around the town and had a look thought a market we found and also our friend’s want to try and find an internet café as we all wanted access to some decent internet access, (it turned out the internet was so not great!..). After that we went back to the ship and got some lunch and our swimming / snorkelling gear and got the local bus to the Le Meridien Resort, and spent the rest of the afternoon swimming and relaxing there. After we spent the afternoon at the Le Meridien Resort, we went and found the pub that we went to last time (we call its bazzaw pub ;) :P) (bazzaw will know the one I mean ; :))) and then we went to the International Food market that setups near the ship every night to get some food, the food was yum! (I had a burger and my parents had Crepe Suzette!, (We were looking for a Pizza van, but there was none this time around)), then we went back to the ship. The ship did not leave Papeete, till 3:30am (We were only cruising to Moorea), we had a nice day. Moorea, French Polynesia - Wednesday, 25 September Moorea was another tender port and we have also been here before. We had thought about picking up a local tour on the pier to take us around the island, but many of the tours was booked out, so instead we got a taxi to a local beach (Which bazzaw went to back in July 2011), to check it out, and had a nice day relaxing and snorkelling, the snorkelling was not too bad either! The day start out overcast but it turned out to be a nice day! Bora Bora, French Polynesia - Thursday, 26 September Bora Bora was another tender port and we have also been here before. We did a private tour with Patrick (Again! we went with him back in July 2011) and went swimming with the sharks (Both Black Tip reef sharks and Lemon sharks, mind you I did not see any Lemon sharks this time.), then we went and feed the Stingrays and saw more Black Tip reef sharks, after that we went to a Coral Gardens, a different one to what we went to last time and the Snorkelling there was AMAZING!, I don’t think I have snorkelled with so many fish, since we were last up in Port Vila!. After that our driver took us for a cruise around the whole of Bora Bora by sea, which was quite neat and got to see a lot more of Bora Bora; then we have ever seen before. After our cruise around Bora Bora, our driver took a few of us to Bloody Mary’s and my parents had a Bloody Mary. Then it was time to catch the local bus back to the where our tender dropped us off. If you every get a chance to go Bora Bora, make sure you check out the tours Patrick offer :)
