Bone marrow biopsy final diagnosis: Hypocellular marrow with no - TopicsExpress

Bone marrow biopsy final diagnosis: Hypocellular marrow with no definitive evidence of persistent/recurrent plasma cell myeloma or in layman terms I am still in remission, with some treatment damage to my marrow. This is awesome news (remission), what I had been praying for (and asking all of you to pray for) and what I intrinsically knew. I do have damage to my marrow due to the transplant and chemo, so I am off all chemo for now. My body needs to rest and recover, give my bone marrow a chance to regenerate. I will have monthly check-ups to monitor this disease, but I know I will be fine for a very long time. Please remember me in your prayers as this is a disease that has yet to be cured, and pray for a cure! In the meantime - I FEEL GREAT, THANKS BE TO GOD! My faith in God has never waivered, but my faith in myself has at times. Through all of my support from family and friends, you lifted me up at the times when I was down. Thank you for carrying me through this journey. It is far from over, but I am strong and will continue on! Love you all :-)
