Boomer is a great horse he will do western or English he loves trail and cant get enough attention. He is a rescue, he does NOT have papers, but needs weight on him and conditioning but he is a great horse worth your time. He is fantastic he is very trusting and loving. Good for beginner or husband and young riders. He travels well in a trailer, good for farrier, bathing, grooming, leading, exceptional with other horses. He likes trail ridding great on the road can be used as a lead horse or take him out alone. Free lunging or line, indoor arena or out. He is a very good and willing he stand 16 hands would also make a good school horse. He is between 16-18 yrs according to my vet. He is quite out riding and will cross over water, logs, and go through whatever is asked of him. The main thing that needs to be known about this guy is that he is SLOW, he will walk, faster walk, and maybe trot a bit but then wants to slow down and go on a walk again. He drops his head and moves out like a western pleasure horse, no high headed bad behavior, he is quite and safe. He would find his ideal home with someone who needs a great trail riding and safe all around horse for the family or small child. Kids can crawl over and under him with out an issue. We thought Boomer had found his forever home, but he was to tall, so PLEASE BE AWARE he is 16.1hh and that makes him a big horse! We are located in Trussville Al 35173.
