Boots showed up maybe as much as 3 years ago, starving = skin and bones. At the time we had a male who chased him off. He came back after my cats both passed, and me bein a softie I began to feed him so hed get regular meals. He shows in the early AM and dinnertime, almost without fail. For a long time Id reach out and try and touch him, touch of my hand made him jump a foot or two--very leery. Finally he lets me and LIKES to have his back stroked:-) and he LOVES cottage cheese...I have seen him go thru so many serious scrapes, and injuries. He always manages to bounce back. I wish someone would take him and make him a pampered house cat. Hes a Tom and I fear the worst for him....rough life. I dont have time to trap and attempt taming a feral, nor monies for the vet bills to get him fixed, etc. I think he has a bit of Norwegian Forest Cat in him......couple times when I had him pumped up, his coat was very long, beautiful.
