Borehamwood brilliance. walked out of the train station to a newly designed forecourt area- parking, bus zone & taxi rank (complete with covered area and seating). I was impressed! So, I sit and wait for my taxi to arrive. After 15 minutes a man comes over and asks if I am waiting for a taxi (whilst sitting under the taxi rank sign). Avoiding my usual sarcasm, I confirmed his thoughts. Ah, he replies - the taxis dont come here. You need to go onto the high street to the taxi firm there. So, I oblige. Having booked my taxi, I am then told to wait on the side of the road opposite the taxi rank. Simply brilliant! How much did we pay for that white elephant (& I dont mean me!)
