Born Again? part 2 2 Timothy 3:15-17 Authorized (King James) Version 15 and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. I was born again in my late 20s. Once you are born again, you will know it. I had believed I was born again already because of the church doctrines we get taught. I placed this scripture above here to educate and show you more truth. I fit into the same shoes as Timothy as shown above. Notice that Paul is talking to a young man and he states that knowing the Bible will make you wise (give you wisdom) which will (in the future) lead to your salvation. That salvation comes through faith. That faith has got to be in Christ. Jesus is the Christ! God came down into the flesh body of Jesus. So Jesus is to be known as God with us. If we believe and have faith that Jesus is God in the flesh (the Christ), then we shall become saved. I am absolutely sure that when we die, we will be brought up into the presence of Jesus the Christ. At that point, it is up to him to decide what to do with us, or where to send us. All power in heaven and earth is given unto him by the Father Spirit. We need to be born of the Spirit and we will know it when it happens because we will receive the I know that I know awareness. Our spiritual eyes will then be opened. We will be brand new spirit babies. Until you get the I know that I know, you are not born of the Spirit but still in the womb. It is then that you get the Spirit witnessing to your spirit (which is the real you) that you are indeed a son or daughter (child) of God. But you are still inside of your flesh body. This is the real born again experience.
