Born Broken….Children doomed by a Society that deems parent/child bonding optional!!! The United States likes to continue to consider it’s self a super power among countries. It wasn’t our bomb making capacities or the size of our armies or military power that made this a once great nation. This stature began with our progress in the Global Economy that was bolstered by our technological edge and rapid speed of industrial growth and international mail service before the United Nations came to be in 1942. (The U.N. is an entity that was merely re-named at that time with a long prior existence of great historical relevance) The North American Treaty Organization N.A.T.O.; came about soon after in 1949. People look at the “Cold War” and the “Arms Race” and assume that is historically when we became a Super Power. We stopped being a Super Power when we stopped remembering our heritage, and that our greatest leaders were the peace keepers and the protectors of civil and human rights. Now we bear children and raise them in a county that we assume that they will one day be able to still stand proud as our own Government allows our land to be sold to outsiders, equality has a price tag, our veterans are suffering, we have not been in a time of peace for decades, our constitution is not respected, the bill of rights ignored, morality and humanity are a rarity, and family values have little importance, Not because “We the people” changed, but because Our own Government has changed things for its people and it’s entities answer to no one. This includes every Court House and Government funded agency that inserts itself in the lives of children and families. We have been a broken Nation for a long time, and as such so have families who have been torn apart by the Government that our ancestors created being used in ways for which it was not intended and a divide amongst people has been irreparably formed. Freedoms that our soldiers have fought and died for is NOT at all free. Paid for and funded by the rich, for the rich of the rich. The American Nuclear Family is bound for extinction and this has happened all in the name of the profiteers to this genocide. Born Broken… coming generations will soon be, and our grandchildren will know of the beauty of parent and child bonding only though what is taught in our countries classrooms as they learn what America used to be in a class they call New American History!!! Divorce is the right of a parent of course, but the right to experience the natural bond between a parent and his or her children has been allowed to be no more than a very lucrative divorce industry instrument and commodity. One that is insured by incentives for Government Funding!!! Our laws don’t protect us, nor do our politicians. What should we expect from the leaders of a Country that was stolen from the real owners, the Native American Indians and called it their own? Why would we expect them not to disallow the legal thieving and extortion of our children? Was this ever really a great nation? Was it ever really ours in the first place?
