Boston Update- Tuesday: Our sweet miracle is still making huge progress. Plan for the day is to make a pressure change in his vent. And lower is rate to 12. Nurse said that she assumes that will be the last wean. If 2 blood gases are good and he is breathing comfortably- they will do a 30 min breathing trial tonight. And will continue to exercise him each day till we get there this weekend. (At this rate- it may just be me) He is still giving a some wet diapers and nephrology is happy with his drainage on dialysis. Kidney plan wont change until after extubating. One major change at a time... His breastmilk was fortified once more with extra calories so we are up to full feeds at 30cal. Gain those muscles sweet boy! MRI is scheduled for end of week also. Prayers for a day of tolerated vent changes and for those little lungs to be ready to take on the world independently! Ill be happy to hear the boy cry all day every day! 💙 #bostonstrong
