Both my parents worked, so for a couple years they had to hire a sitter for a few hours a day. I was in front of the TV on November 22 when the news reports started breaking in. I was asking the sitter a lot of questions and she kept saying you cant believe everying you see on TV. Mom came in, let out early from school. She looked like a like a member of her own family had died. The sitter said we had been hearing things on the TV about the president throughout the day but that she had been assuring me that it wasnt true. Mom, a source whose credibility could not reasonably be questioned, said she was very sorry but the news was true. The sitter fell face foward on the floor, crying in a way that Id never before. And she was saying the world was coming to an end....
