Both of these industries(Pharmaceutical/Vivisection) are fundamentally anti-life, therefore as a life affirming individual I choose to remove myself, personally and professionally, from the gears of these machines. Please consider that the outrage one may feel towards abusive animal practices does not require you to be a vegan. This is of the most basic human traits, to feel empathy for the suffering of other living creatures. It appears that a society that becomes complacent and comfortable with conformity becomes ever more compliant to injustice. The civil rights movement of the 70’s was a direct response to blatant injustice. Consider the words of Martin Luther King Jr where he stated an injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. Fear and anger are tools used by the adversaries of freedom to instill division and to imprison the passion of the people.
