Botswana #Diamonds, BOD, says it has appointed Anne Margaret McFarland, as a non-executive director. The company says McFarland has extensive experience in resources in Russia. For fifteen years she worked as a senior finance executive for Glencore, BP and Russian conglomerates, and she is a qualified as a chartered accountant in London. In statement, BOD Chairman, John Teeling, noted that McFarland will be actively involved in the companys fast growing joint venture with Alrosa. Botswana Diamonds, is a diamond exploration and project development company that holds exploration licences in Botswana and Cameroon.
