Botswana Red Cross society’s Marketing & Communications Officer (Kelebogile Mafoko) and Youth Officer (Wetsho Mosokwe) recently paid a visit to Northside primary School to disseminate information about the RCRC movement. The students had a keen interest in Red Cross’s role in promoting peace around the world. The students were also urged to venture into the world of volunteerism and service by forming a Red Cross club in their school. Being part of a club can give junior members vital social skills such as teamwork and leadership. It teaches them the importance of companionship and care for others.This is the opportunity to introduce them to a club where they can have fun and at the same time learn and serve.
