Bought a $10 tying vice months back and i have been using it rather comfortably,did a few mods (wrapping the hook grip part w threads so as to get a firmer grip and also preventing the grip(metal) from rubbing against the hook,used a clip to secure the kevlar against the hooks tip so i can bind the kev w ease and lastly a scotchtaped rubberband so i can coat my superglue & loon evenly without having excess at either ends...(of course a proper fly tying vice would be great...but im just using it mainly for assist hooks and bucktail!)
